Digital Kit grants for self-employed and small companies

If you are self-employed or you own a company with less than 3 employees, you can already apply for a new grant called “Kit Digital” of up to 2.000€ provided by the Ministry of the Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation of the Spanish Government.

What does the grant consist of?

The goal of the grant is to help the self-employed/companies to introduce digital solutions into their business to improve their digital maturity. The topics that the grant covers are the following:

1. Website creation.
2. E-commerce.
3. Social Network Management
4. Customer management
5. Process management
6. Electronic invoicing
7. Virtual office services and tools
8. Secure communications
9. Cybersecurity

What requirements do you have to meet?

You must be up to date with your Social Security and Tax Office payments.

How is the application made?

What documentation will I need to provide?

We will only need you to register at https://www.acelerapyme.gob.es/en/do-you-want-know-degree-digitization-your-sme. Then you will have to take the tests that appear on the page and send us the generated pdfs. These tests help you to know the current status of your business in terms of digitization.

Once the grant has been approved, how do I have to carry out the subsidized action?

There is a catalog of Digital Agents to whom you can order. Once the subsidy is approved, you will have to choose, from the list of Agents, to which one you want to assign the work/project.

How will I receive the amount of the grant?

In this case you will not receive the 2000€, but the Digital Agent you have chosen will receive it. In their invoice they will discount you the amount received by the Government. Anyway, you will have to assume the full VAT of the invoice (that will be deducted in your quarter VAT forms if you submit VAT forms)

E.g (for a 3000€ service):
Total invoice of 3000€
Grant reduction: -2000€
Total Base: 3000€ – 2000€ = 1000€
VAT: 630€ (21% of 3000€)
Total to be paid: 1000€ + 630€ (VAT) = 1630€

What is the deadline for applying for the subsidy?

The deadline to submit the application is October 20, 2023. However, a total of 3,067 million euros have been earmarked for this digital voucher and, as applications are received, this figure will be reduced until it reaches 0, at which point no more aid will be granted.
